DVDAfterEdit Mastering Edition is for authoring professionals who require mass replication. It provides output to DLT and DDP Image, the preferred formats for replication required in order to use region coding, CSS and Macrovision. You can also restore DLTs or DDP Images made from any authoring system to an editable VIDEO_TS folder, allowing you to make changes to previously mastered projects that need to be refreshed for re-release.

  • Guarantee that the region code will match in all DDP files
  • Select layer break from a pop-up list that shows all legal cells or files
  • Set the disc parameters: disc diameter, disc side and number of sides
  • Choose whether or not to include Macintosh ROM Data
  • Choose ISO, Joliet, and UDF file name options
  • Assign a disc name, tape label, publisher, and preparer
  • Choose logging and SCSI options in the premastering preferences
  • Read logs that are automatically saved as text files, as aids to troubleshooting and replicator communication

DVDAfterEdit Standard is targeted for authors who do not require mass replication.

Standard Features

  • Open any unencrypted VIDEO_TS folder created by any authoring system on any platform
  • Trace navigation execution, with live display of all system and general-purpose registers
  • Tracing includes a video playback emulator, synchronized with navigation
  • Set breakpoints and edit the navigation commands, showing their location in the DVD structure
  • Copy and paste selected commands or even the entire navigation structure to and from text files
  • Edit the program chain structure of the DVD and create new PGCs
  • Import content from any DVD authoring application
  • Make large-scale changes of content, structure and interactive features
  • Combine smaller DVDs into a single dual-layer DVD
  • Change idents, logos and copyright messages
